Niacinamide

Nicotinamide can down-regulate the transport of melanosomes from melanocytes to keratinocytes without inhibiting tyrosinase activity or cell proliferation, thereby affecting skin pigmentation. It can also interfere with the relationship between keratinocytes and melanocytes. The inter-cell signaling channel reduces melanogenesis. On the other hand, nicotinamide can act on the melanin that has been produced, reducing its transfer to surface cells. Niacinamide is used as a whitening ingredient, when the concentration is 2%~5%, it proves to be effective in curing melasma and hyperpigmentation caused by ultraviolet rays

A randomized double-blind controlled study published in 2012 compared niacinamide and hydroquinone at the same concentration (4%).
Niacinamide induces a decrease in pigmentation, inflammatory infiltrate, and solar elastosis. Niacinamide is a safe and effective therapeutic agent for this condition.

Vitamin C derivative
In epidermal cells, tyrosine naturally exists, which is the predecessor of melanin. When our skin is exposed to ultraviolet rays, it will automatically trigger a series of reactions to change tyrosine into melanin, the so-called melanin. There is a very crucial substance in this reaction-tyrosinase. Tyrosine is catalyzed by tyrosine amide to form dopa; then again, tyrosinase converts dopa into dopaquinone, which is then auto-oxidized into melanin. Vitamin C can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase, hinder the production of melanin, protect the skin from ultraviolet rays, and improve the effect of skin dullness.
Vitamin C can interrupt the process of melanin production, prevent the generated dopamine from further oxidation, reduce it to dopa, and interfere with the process of melanin production.

Twice daily.
1)After cleansing, apply appropriate amount of the cream on dark area on knuckles, hands, elbows, oxter, feet,and knees.
2)Gently massage your skin in circular motion till totally absorbed.
